Why you should go

Cheapest con ever
- Only $35 for admission!
- For extra cheapness, you can sleep on my floor, 1.5 nice urban walkable miles from the con (offer limited to 8 people, after that, we run out of water for showers)
- In downtown Seattle: direct light rail trip from the airport, walking distance from the train station
Represent
- We're a female-dominated community full of geeks. What better fit for GeekGirlCon?
What do you geek on? Likely official programming:
- Female creators in media (Jane Espenson, writer on a shit-ton of shows, is a guest)
- Female media characters
- Women in gaming
- Women in science and tech
- Women in comics
- Steampunk
- Cosplay
- Geeky crafts
Meetups and our unofficial programming
- Friday night fan get together if there's no official programming announced for that night
- Sunday night closing party at my place
- If I can find four people who want (and can pay $120 for the weekend) to stay there, we can rent an apartment 2 blocks from the event and have a home base for our own constant room party, watch party, and/or unofficial alternative programming track
